気管支喘息は単一の病態や症状を示す疾患ではなく、いくつかのフェノタイプやエンドタイプを有する疾患である。従って、重症喘息治療の成績を向上させるためには、患者背景に合わせた喘息治療薬を選択する必要がある。本研究では、抗TSLP抗体を治療に用いた重症喘息患者のTSLPシグナル関連遺伝子型を解析する。TSLPシグナル関連遺伝子型解析の結果から、抗TSLP抗体治療において比較的高い効果を得られる可能性があるサブグループの特徴を明らかにする。
