Outline of Research at the Start

COPDや肺線維症などの難治性呼吸器疾患の新たな治療法の開発は、喫緊の課題である。近年、間葉系幹細胞が障害組織に健常なミトコンドリアを供給し、組織修復することが報告され、ミトコンドリア損傷を標的とする治療が現実味を帯びてきた。本研究では、安価・簡便に製造することが可能な間葉系幹細胞類似の細胞であるDFATをもちいて、ミトコンドリア損傷を標的とした難治性呼吸器疾患の治療法開発を目的とし、研究を行う。
