Outline of Research at the Start	喘息に対する病態関連分子として内因性抗酸化分子である活性硫黄分子種(Reactive Sulfur Species)の喘息の病態形成に係る役割を獲得免疫及び自然免疫の観点から明らかにする。RSS産生酵素であるシステインtRNA合成酵素の遺伝子欠損マウスを用いて２種類の喘息モデル（獲得免疫および自然免疫）を作成し、2型気道炎症に及ぼす作用を明らかにし、動物モデルで明らかとなった分子基盤について患者検体を用いた検討を行う。大規模住民ゲノムコホートと重症喘息患者ゲノムコホートを用いて全ゲノム解析やトランスクリプトーム解析を施行し喘息の発症および難治化に対するRSSの役割を解明する。
