Outline of Research at the Start	間質性肺炎は、喫煙とは独立した肺癌のrisk factorの一つである。間質性肺炎では活性化した線維芽細胞が細胞外基質を産生し組織リモデリングを引き起こし、肺癌では癌関連線維芽細胞（CAF）と呼ばれ、癌の増殖・浸潤を促す。本研究では、single cell RNA-seqや蛍光マルチプレックス免疫組織化学染色といった最新の技術を活用して、肺癌におけるCAFのtumor-promoting subtypeを同定し、その機能を解析する。肺癌細胞とCAFおよび腫瘍免疫応答との機能的な関連性を解明し、診断及び予後マーカー、さらには治療標的となりうる因子を探る。
