Outline of Research at the Start	急性腎障害後、尿細管細胞は非常に高い再生能力を発揮して元の構造を再構築するが、その再生能は加齢とともに低下する。本研究では「腎幹細胞活性化因子による加齢腎の再生」を試みる。Doxycycline誘導Histone 2B-GFPマウスを用いて、分裂速度の非常に遅い腎幹細胞をGFP標識し、FACSにより分離・培養して腎幹細胞の増殖・分化様式を明らかにする。さらに、プロテインアレイを用いて腎幹細胞特異的に発現しているリガンド・受容体を探索する。その中から腎幹細胞活性化因子を同定し、高齢マウスで減少している腎幹細胞を増やすことが可能か確認する。
