Outline of Research at the Start	高血圧、非高血圧、および原発性アルドステロン症の患者を対象に、CASZ1遺伝子内に存在する高血圧や原発性アルドステロン症の発症に関係する既報の一塩基多型（SNP）（rs880315、 rs284277、rs12046287など）のDNA配列の解析を行い、また患者の血圧や血漿レニン濃度、血漿アルドステロン濃度、血清Na、K、Cl、BNPやカプトリル負荷試験などの各種内分泌学的負荷試験の結果および血圧や心拍数、心機能、心電図、尿蛋白などの各種臨床パラメータを収集・分析し、これらの疾患関連SNPがMRの活性化を通じて高血圧やPAの発症に関与していることを示す。
