Outline of Research at the Start

色素細胞の発生・分化を促す色素細胞のマスター転写制御因子microphthalmia-associated transcription factor(MITF)が、神経系遺伝子を抑制することで、色素細胞と神経構成細胞の前駆細胞の神経構築細胞への分化を抑制し、色素細胞の細胞運命を決定する可能性を検討する。本研究の結果を色素細胞の発生異常による先天性色素性疾患の病因解明や悪性黒色腫の診断に繋げたい。
