Outline of Research at the Start	ハンセン病は、Mycobacterium leprae、またはMycobacterium lepromatosisによって引き起こされる。M. lepromatosisは、近年新たに同定された菌であり、その性質はほとんど調べられていない。本研究では、ハンセン病治療薬である、ダプソン、リファンピシン、キノロン剤の耐性を引き起こすとされるfolP1、rpoB、gyrB-gyrA遺伝子について、両菌における変異とその性質の違いを比較解析する。
