Outline of Research at the Start

稀少ではあるが予後の悪い浸潤性乳房外Paget病（EMPD）を対象として、組織学的特徴の検討や次世代シーケンサー（NGS）を用いた遺伝子検索を行う。それを基にすれば新しい治療薬開発に繋げることができ、EMPDの予後改善が期待できる。本研究の目的・問いは「EMPDが免疫チェックポイント阻害薬の治療適応と成り得るか」であり、今回、組織学的な特徴（腫瘍浸潤の有無による分類、リンパ節転移、腫瘍周囲リンパ球浸潤）と発現タンパク（悪性度の高いcSCC発現するCD109など）の解析やNGSを用いた遺伝子検索を行う。加えて、その遺伝子やタンパクが新規治療薬やドラッグリポジショニングのターゲットと成り得るか、の検索も行う。
