Outline of Research at the Start

トロンボモジュリン（TM）は、血管内皮細胞以外にも造血幹細胞、免疫担当細胞にも発現しているトロンビン（Tb）受容体であり、Tb依存作用と非依存作用により凝固と炎症を制御している。我々は、最近、Tbに全く結合しないTM-Nagasaki患者を特定した。
本研究の概要は、本患者ならびに保因者からinducible Pluripotent Stem（iPS）細胞を樹立し、内皮細胞等成熟分化細胞を作製し、これらの成熟分化細胞を用いて各細胞におけるTMの役割をTb依存と非依存作用に分けて解明する研究である。
