Outline of Research at the Start	ジェロコンバージョンとは、細胞老化誘導における新たな細胞生物学的概念である。老化細胞では、p16やp21といったCDK阻害因子（ブレーキ）が、細胞周期の停止に深く関与している一方で、これと矛盾して、細胞増殖シグナル経路（アクセル）も同時に活性化しており、これよる細胞周期調節機構の破綻が不可逆的変化の原因となる可能性が示唆されている。本研究では、MAPKシグナルを介して白血病細胞分化を誘導することが知られているall-trans retinoic acidとCDK4/6阻害剤を併用処置することで、ジェロコンバージョンに類似した状況を再現し、骨髄性白血病に対する治療効果が増強されるかを検討する。
