Outline of Research at the Start

多発性筋炎/皮膚筋炎(PM/DM)の生命予後を規定する重要臓器合併症として間質性肺疾患(ILD) が挙げられる。近年、Progressive Pulmonary Fibrosis (PPF)と称される慢性的ではあるが持続進行性の経過を辿り生命予後が不良のサブタイプが定義された。しかし、PM/DM-ILDにおけるPPFの予測因子や線維化に加わる病態に関しては明らかではない。そのため本研究ではPM/DM-ILDにおいて、PPFへの進展に関連する特徴的な因子を抽出し予測モデルを構築し、かつ、細胞、肺組織、モデルマウスからそれらのPPF病態への関与を検証する。
