Outline of Research at the Start

シェーグレン症候群は全身の乾燥症状をきたす自己免疫疾患であり、その生命予後には間質性肺疾患などの腺外病変が関わる。マスト細胞は細胞内顆粒を脱顆粒することでアレルギー性疾患に関与するが、間質性肺疾患におけるマスト細胞の病的意義は不明である。本研究ではシェーグレン症候群に合併した間質性肺疾患患者の気管支肺胞洗浄液(BALF)中のマスト細胞を分取し、機能解析とシングルセルRNA-seqによる網羅的遺伝子解析を行い、唾液腺組織とBALF中マスト細胞を比較、さらに他の免疫細胞との相互作用を解析し、シェーグレン症候群におけるマスト細胞の役割と病的意義を解明しその制御による新たな治療標的の発見を目指す。
