Outline of Research at the Start

EGPAは好酸球の著増という特徴を持つ血管炎の一種であり、希少疾患である。EGPAの血清中因子は興味深い特徴を示し、罹患臓器との関連が示唆される。また治療後に一部の液性因子は有意な減少を示す。本研究では(ⅰ)罹患臓器と液性因子との関連の確立 (ⅱ)治療による液性因子の変化の解析、特にメポリズマブ投与による変化に着目しIL-5を上流としたサイトカインカスケードを明らかにする (ⅲ)治療前EGPA症例は好酸球を十分数確保できる点で貴重である。好酸球とその他の細胞の液性因子産生を定量・比較する。(ⅰ)-(ⅲ)を通じてEGPAの発症メカニズムの一端を明らかにする。
