Outline of Research at the Start

喘息患者は疫学的にCOVID-19に罹患しにくいことが示されているが，喘息治療に用いる吸入ステロイド薬のCOVID-19への影響については結果が一定でない。本研究では，SARS-CoV-2の気道上皮細胞への感染性に吸入ステロイド薬が与える影響について検証する。3次元細胞培養モデルを用いて, ヒト気道上皮における偽型ウイルスの感染性と感染に関連した分子発現に対する各種吸入ステロイド薬の影響を検討するとともに，マウスを用いてヒトへの感染性に関するin vivoでの各種吸入ステロイド薬の影響について検討を行う。
