Outline of Research at the Start

ヒトノロウイルス(HuNoV)は、ウイルス性胃腸炎の主な原因の一つであり、近年、ヒト の腸管幹細胞由来のオルガノイドを用いたノロウイルスの培養系が確立された。しかしなが ら、ヒト腸管オルガノイド(HEO)を用いた系は、普遍的な株化培養細胞と比べ取り扱いが煩雑であり、維持費もかかることからHuNoVを増やせる量にも限界がある。申請者はこれまでにマウスノロウイルスの受容体を非感受性細胞に発現させることで感受性になることを示し た。そこで本研究課題では、HuNoVに対する受容体を探索すること、そして株化細胞株を用いたHuNoVの培養系を確立することを目的とする。
