Outline of Research at the Start	肥満やサルコペニアは体組成が変化し引き起こされる疾患であり、全世界的に問題となっている。これらは生活習慣病の発症の引き金となり、死亡リスクが高まるため、これらの予防は健康寿命延長のため重要である。HIV感染者では肥満・サルコペニアの罹患率が高いことが報告されているが、日本からの報告は少なく不明な点が多い。今回の研究ではHIV感染者の体組成や筋力の変化について臨床研究・基礎研究の両面で解析し、肥満やサルコペニアの罹患率やその成因について探究する。特に基礎研究では抗HIV薬を中心とし、脂肪増加や筋量低下に与える影響について調べる。
