Outline of Research at the Start

MSSA感染症は、セファゾリン(CEZ)等の抗菌薬に感性であるにもかかわらず、しばしば難治性感染症の経過を辿る。近年、MSSAの中に、高接種菌量の微量液体希釈法によりCEZのMIC値が著明に増加し耐性を示す株（CzIE）の存在が明らかとなっており、CEZ治療に抵抗性を示す可能性が示唆されている。菌血症における分離頻度は海外では10-55%とされるが、日本における現状は明らかではない。本研究では、多機関共同研究により血液培養におけるCzIEの分離状況と臨床的特徴を明らかにする。さらに、CzIE株の簡便な検出法を構築する。本研究遂行により、MSSA感染症患者の予後改善に大きく貢献できると考える。
