Outline of Research at the Start	消化管は栄養素の吸収だけでなく、様々な機能を果たしている。私たちは、消化管と糖尿病の関わりについて研究してきた。mTORC1は細胞の中でいろいろな細胞内でのエネルギーバランスを感知するなど重要な働きを行っているが、消化管での役割は明らかではなし。今回小腸だけでmTORC1が活性化するモデル動物を作成し、小腸の働きや全身のエネルギー代謝にどう影響するか検討する。
