Outline of Research at the Start

褐色/ベージュ脂肪細胞の発生・分化にかかわる病態基盤と、褐色/ベージュ脂肪細胞を活性化させる機構を解明する。また、褐色/ベージュ脂肪細胞を活性化させる化合物を同定し、その効果と安全性を検証し、詳細な作用機序、肥満・糖代謝などの全身代謝に及ぼす影響を解明する。これまでにない新規の肥満・糖尿病治療を創生することを目的としている。
