Outline of Research at the Start

糖尿病に膵癌の発症が多いことが知られている。我々は1型糖尿病膵組織を病理学的に検討する過程で緩徐進行1型糖尿病(SPIDDM)の患者膵の膵管および膵腺房細胞さらに膵島細胞にエンテロウイルス(EV)の持続感染をみとめ、さらに膵外分泌腺の前癌病変である異形成とPanIN病変を高頻度に認め膵癌の発症にEVの関与が疑われた。そこで、1.膵癌の手術切除検体を対象にRT-PCR および次世代シークエンサーを用いたメタゲノム解析などにより、膵癌に特有なEVゲノム配列を決定すること。2. 手術時切除した膵癌組織をAV3 cellと共培養し、EVの感染陽性細胞から膵癌と関係するEVの塩基配列を決定する。
