感作歴が多く抗HLA抗体強陽性患者は計画治療が可能な生体腎移植であっても現在の脱感作療法では腎移植を受けることは困難である。また、献腎移植待機患者では、ドナーとのクロスマッチが陽性となれば献腎移植を断念せざるを得ない。これらの患者では遺伝子改変ブタをドナーとすれば腎移植の恩恵を受けられる可能性がある。本申請研究では、感作歴のある献腎移植待機患者および抗HLA抗体強陽性の生体腎移植術前評価中患者の血清を用いて、①日本での異種腎移植の候補となりうる患者背景を明確にした上で、②多遺伝子改変ブタリンパ球との免疫反応評価を行い、③抗HLA抗体による異種免疫学的リスクの評価方法の確立を目指す。
