Outline of Research at the Start

乳癌を排除しようとする腫瘍免疫において、液性免疫が重要な役割を持つことが明らかになってきた。乳癌における液性免疫の活性化の場として腫瘍関連3次リンパ構造(TA-TLS)が注目されているが、TA-TLSと抗がん剤の効果との間に関連があるかどうかは未だ不明である。本研究により①乳癌のTA-TLSが抗がん剤の効果と相関するかどうかを明らかとし、②相関関係がある場合、抗がん剤治療に影響を及ぼすTA-TLSの特徴を明らかにする。最終的には、乳癌においてTA-TLSが治療効果に及ぼす影響を解明し、新たな免疫療法の創出に結びつけたいと考えている。
