Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、高メチル化型大腸癌の発癌に関与している腸内環境を明らかにする事を目的としている。これまで大腸癌のサブタイプに着目した腸内細菌研究は殆ど行われておらず、特に“高メチル化型大腸癌”を対象とした横断的菌叢解析は誰も行っていない独自性の高い研究である。今まで抽出不能であった原因菌を同定できる可能性があり、口腔内・腸内細菌叢の発癌への関与を示すことができれば、以下の臨床応用・社会実装が期待できる。
