Outline of Research at the Start

分化型胃癌に比しスキルス胃癌は転移が高頻度である一因として、「スキルス胃癌細胞から産生される因子により教育を受けたeCAFが、癌細胞の浸潤能を促進する因子や形態変化を促進する因子を産生し、その因子の阻害剤がスキルス胃癌治療に有効ではないのか」という問いが生じ、本研究課題「スキルス胃癌微小環境におけるCAF教育-進展機構の解明」を着想した。本研究は、スキルス胃癌細胞から産生されるCAF教育因子と、eCAFが産生する癌細胞運動能促進物質を同定し、その因子を標的にした治療法を開発することを目的とする。
