Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は「シスプラチンと5-FU併用（CF）療法、CF療法+ドセタキセルの３剤併用（DCF）療法、CF療法+放射線治療併用（CF-RT）療法という３つの異なる治療法が食道扁平上皮癌（ESCC）腫免疫瘍微小環境、特に抗腫瘍免疫応答を抑制する免疫抑制性腫瘍関連マクロファージ（M2-TAM）の集積やインターロイキン34（IL-34）発現に及ぼす影響を解析することで免疫チェックポイント阻害薬（ICI）が奏功しやすい微小環境の構築にベストな治療法を明らかにし、ICIとの併用療法の新規治療戦略を確立すること」である。
