Outline of Research at the Start

マルファン症候群は僧帽弁閉鎖不全症の合併例も多いことが知られている。近年マルファン症候群患者においては左房壁/僧帽弁の接合部と左室心筋の離開として定義されるmitral annular disjunction(MAD)の合併が多いことが報告されている。一般的にMADは心臓突然死のリスクがあることが報告されているが、マルファン症候群におけるMADの頻度や不整脈・生命予後との関連および遺伝的背景については十分に明らかにされていない。本研究では、当院の患者リストを用いてマルファン症候群におけるMADの疫学的および遺伝的因子を明らかにし早期発見および早期治療介入の可能性を模索することを目的とする。
