Outline of Research at the Start	小細胞肺癌(SCLC)は全肺癌の10-20%を占めており非小細胞肺癌(NSCLC)と比較して治療開発において遅れています。米国国立衛生研究所(NIH)の報告ではSCLCに対する臨床研究・論文報告は全肺癌研究の1%未満であり特に再発SCLCに対する研究は非常に限られています。SCLCは治療への耐性化が早期に生じます。これはSCLCが発生時より多様な性質を持つ細胞が不均一に混在した腫瘍であり、治療過程においてこれらの多様性、不均一性が変動することが原因と考えられています。私たちは腫瘍内でおこる多様性・不均一性を解析することでSCLCの治療耐性化のメカニズムの解明を目指しています。
