難治性の希少がんである骨軟部肉腫は原発巣を完全切除しても容易に遠隔転移をきたし、特に肺への転移が多い。他の悪性腫瘍に比べて基礎研究や治療開発が遅れており、新たな治療法の開発は喫緊の課題である。本研究では、骨軟部肉腫の原発巣と肺転移巣における腫瘍微小環境の違いを示し、その違い（時空間的多様性）をきたす遺伝子発現変化をシングルセルおよび空間マルチオミクス解析により明らかにし、肉腫肺転移における新しい治療戦略の確立を目指す。
