Outline of Research at the Start

周術期によく使用されるベンゾジアゼピン（BZD）受容体作動薬は抗炎症作用により心筋保護作用を発揮するという報告もあるが、まだ明確な結論は得られておらず、そのメカニズムも不明な点が多い。
全身麻酔薬および鎮静薬として周術期での使用が今後さらに拡大することが期待されている短時間作用型BZD系鎮静薬であるレミマゾラムの心筋保護作用およびそのメカニズムを明らかにすることは、周術期全身管理に使用する薬剤の幅が拡がり、また周術期心合併症の発生率および死亡率減少にも繋がる。
