Outline of Research at the Start

中枢神経系原発悪性リンパ腫 (PCNSL) は高齢化が進む我が国において、今後も患者数の増加が予想される。新たな治療法の導入はあるものの、未だ予後不良な疾患である。近年、腫瘍免疫微小環境 (TIME) なる概念が提唱され、腫瘍細胞と多彩な免疫細胞や免疫関連分子が相互作用することが示された。その中でも慢性炎症に関わるM2マクロファージの腫瘍進展による腫瘍助長効果が着目されている。我々はPCNSL関連TIME中のマクロファージにCD276が発言することを予備実験で見出し、PCNSL関連TIME中に集積するCD276発現M2マクロファージは原発巣進展および眼内転移に関わると仮説しその検証を試みる。
