Outline of Research at the Start	小児脳腫瘍である髄芽腫の中でも高転移型の特徴として軸索誘導因子netrin-1が顕著に増加しており、その結果、TGFβシグナルを活性化して転移を促進することを突き止めている。本研究では、netrin-1とTGFβシグナルを連結する“ハブ”である『ニューロピリン２受容体アイソフォームNRP2b』を標的とする『セマフォリンペプチド』を開発し、netrin-1からTGFβシグナルに至る経路を遮断する新たなコンセプトに基づいた髄芽腫転移阻害法の開発と検証を行う。
