Outline of Research at the Start

動物SAHモデルに間葉系幹細胞由来の細胞外小胞（エクソソーム）を投与し、脳内炎症（特に白血球とマイクログリア）制御が可能かどうかを以下の2点について検討する
①エクソソームは炎症緩和と機能予後改善が可能か？（Proof of Concept; POC）
②どの生理活性物質（miRNA等）が効果に関与しているのか？（Molecular Mechanism）
本研究はくも膜下出血に特化した研究ではあるが、脳内炎症に対するエクソソームの治療効果およびその機序を解明する重要な実験であり、他の脳内炎症性疾患（脳血管障害急性期・自己免疫性脳疾患）への横展開も可能になるなど広く中枢神経疾患に対する新たな治療法をもたらす可能性のある研究である
