Outline of Research at the Start

本研究ではSSTR5抗体を用いた成長ホルモン産生下垂体腫瘍への近赤外線免疫療法 (NIR-PIT療法) の可能性の検証を目的とする。ホルモン産生下垂体がん培養細胞におけるSSTR5発現を検証後，それら細胞を皮下移植したマウス腫瘍モデルを作製し，NIR-PIT治療の効果を組織学的生化学的に検証する。さらにヒトへの応用可能性を検討する目的で，成長ホルモン産生下垂体腺腫患者から摘出した余剰腫瘍組織についてSSTR5抗体によるNIR-PIT療法の有効性を検証する。こうして全摘出できない成長ホルモン産生性下垂体腺腫を寛解させる治療の基盤研究の確立が期待される。
