Outline of Research at the Start	膠芽腫は極めて予後不良の悪性脳腫瘍であり新規の治療開発が急務である。我々はこれまで微小管阻害剤であるエリブリンを用いた再発膠芽腫に対する医師主導治験を完遂した結果、主要評価項目を達成した。一方、腫瘍治療電場療法（tumor treating fields: TTF）は電場を形成する事で腫瘍細胞の細胞分裂を阻害する非侵襲的な治療方法で、既に臨床現場で膠芽腫に使用されている。本研究ではエリブリンの持つ微小管阻害作用とTTFの腫瘍増殖阻害作用の相乗効果について検証し、膠芽腫患者に対する新規治療法開発をめざすことを目的とする。
