Outline of Research at the Start

これまでの研究で開発した超多孔質リン酸カルシウムセメントを管状にして中央部にヒアルロン酸を含んだ自家軟骨片を填入したものを一期手術でスペーサーとして挿入することにより、周囲からは異物反応の少ない骨代謝環境をもたらす線維組織や血管が侵入し、周囲に比べて低酸素状態の中央部には軟骨内骨化に準じた環境がもたらされ、自家軟骨を生体に順化・増殖させることができるか。また、これを二期手術で粉砕・再移植し骨欠損部位に均等分散させることで最高の治療成績を得ることができるか。を明らかにする研究である。
