Outline of Research at the Start	骨・軟骨由来の可溶型FGFR2-IIIbについて，線維芽細胞増殖因子（FGF）-FGF 受容体（FGFR）シグナル伝達機構における分子機能を解明する。また，骨・軟骨形成においてどのような機能を果たすのかin vitroおよびin vivoにて解明する。そして得られた結果をもとに，可溶型FGFR2-IIIbの特性を活かした骨・軟骨再生療法あるいは保存療法への展開を模索する。
