Outline of Research at the Start

腫瘍免疫に関わる因子には，腫瘍抗原の発現，免疫チェックポイントなど腫瘍免疫の状態，リンパ球や樹状細胞などの免疫細胞が挙げられ，切除不能な状態の肉腫患者では複数の要因により腫瘍免疫が機能不全に陥っていると推測できる．この問題を解決するためには，免疫療法の単独療法では限界があり，腫瘍免疫に対する多方面からのアプローチが必要と考えられる．本研究では，骨軟部肉腫患者における免疫状態を評価することにより免疫不全状態の機序を解明し，さらに腫瘍免疫活性化の手法を探索することにより，骨軟部肉腫に対する新たな免疫療法の開発を目標とする．
