Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では局所浸潤性軟部肉腫に対して術前放射線・温熱併用療法を導入することで局所制御率を向上することができるかどうかについての検討を行う。さらに近年注目されている温熱療法による腫瘍免疫の活性化に関しても治療前後の腫瘍検体・血液サンプルを用いて解析し、最終的には免疫チェックポイント阻害剤などのがん免疫治療を併用することで、更なる治療成績向上を狙った放射線温熱免疫療法を骨軟部腫瘍領域で確立していく。
