Outline of Research at the Start

副甲状腺ホルモン製剤とWnt/β-cateninシグナル活性化薬という二種類の骨形成促進薬を併用・逐次投与することで、加齢に伴う骨折治癒障害に対する相乗効果の有無を検討する。骨折治癒過程は様々な細胞が出現・消失する動的な環境であり、両シグナルの相互作用を時間的、空間的に解析する必要がある。本研究の結果は、老化した骨の骨折治癒障害を大幅に改善する可能性があり、さらに骨粗鬆症治療への応用も期待される。
