Outline of Research at the Start

前立腺癌CAFsの人種間差異を検討することで、日本人ホルモン治療感受性規定因子を見出し、その因子に基づくCRPCへの進展制御を目指す。代表者らは、進行性前立腺癌原発巣からCAFsの初代培養を行い、樹立した多数症例の前立腺癌CAFsパネルを活用することで、様々な組み合わせによる前立腺癌細胞株とのマウス混合移植モデルが可能であることを見出した。個々の患者に合わせ、癌間質をターゲットとしたオーダーメイド医療の確立が期待される。
