Outline of Research at the Start

骨盤内手術では、骨盤神経叢が損傷されることで神経因性の低活動膀胱を発症するが、有効な治療法は確立していない。損傷した末梢神経の機能回復には軸索再生が重要であるが、軸索再生メカニズムの全容も明らかではない。近年、軸索再生にcAMP/PKA/CREB 経路の関与するとin vitro研究で報告されている。我々は骨盤神経損傷による低活動膀胱ラットモデルを使用して、cAMP/PKA/CREB 経路活性化およびそれにより制御される転写因子発現と神経軸索再生の関連を明らかにするとともに、cAMPレベル上昇作用をもつ薬剤による神経因性低活動膀胱の治療効果を評価し、その臨床応用の可能性を検討する。
