Outline of Research at the Start

去勢抵抗性前立腺がん（Castration resistant prostate cancer:CRPC）は再発を繰り返し根治困難である。本研究では、免疫反応増強機構の一つである免疫学的細胞死（immunogenic cell death；ICD）を指標として、独自の細胞外小胞検出系を用いた系統的なスクリーニング系を確立し既存薬ライブラリーから前立腺がん細胞に作用する強力な免疫増強剤を見出す。同定された薬剤によるICD を介したＴ細胞の活性化と我々がすでに開発途中のCXorf48抗原特異的T細胞療法の併用によりがん細胞を排除する真に有効な複合免疫療法を確立しCRPC の根治を目指す。
