Outline of Research at the Start

放射線治療は前立腺癌に対して広く使用される。しかし、患者間での治療応答には大きなばらつきがあるため、放射線治療が有効な患者群の同定は臨床的課題である。そのためには放射線感受性を規定する機序の全貌の解明が必要である。申請者らは、先行研究において放射線感受性を制御する複数の候補遺伝子を同定している。本研究では前立腺癌の放射線感受性メカニズムの解明、放射線増感剤の同定、治療効果予測モデルの開発を行う。
