Outline of Research at the Start

小径腎癌の標準的治療法は、腎臓から腫瘍部だけを切り取る「腎部分切除術」である。この手術では腎臓に埋没した腫瘍の位置を把握することが困難という問題がある。これを解決する手段として、術前CTから作成した腎臓3Dモデルを術中画面に投影することで腫瘍位置を明示するナビゲーションシステムが研究されている。しかし、術中操作で腎臓が変形するため、CTの腎臓3Dモデルと一致しないことが多く、その精度は不十分である。我々は臓器変形の少ない場面に限定して、世界初の高精度ナビゲーションシステムを開発した。本研究助成では実際の手術での評価を行い、より実用的な高精度ナビゲーションシステムを完成させることを目的とする。
