Outline of Research at the Start

進行性ホルモン感受性前立腺癌の治療においては、アンドロゲン除去療法に新規ホルモン剤を併用することが標準治療になったが、依然として多くの症例が去勢抵抗性になり、難治化していく。CRPCの遺伝子異常が解明されてきたが、実臨床で応用されたものはオラパリブのみであり、その他の遺伝子異常に基づいた治療の開発は皆無である。申請者が開発した「患者由来細胞」はあらゆるGradeの前立腺癌を長期培養可能にした。PDX・オルガノイドへの転用も可能であり、既存の前臨床モデルでの追検証もできる。本研究では、「患者由来細胞」を用いて前立腺癌の難治症例を対象にゲノム情報に基づいた疾患の解明と治療法の開発をめざす。
