Outline of Research at the Start

子宮頸部胃型腺癌（GAS）は、HPV非依存性であり、胃幽門腺への分化を特徴とする頸部腺癌の亜型で、抗がん剤や放射線治療への抵抗性と予後の悪さから、新規治療法の開発が求められている。本研究では、GASにおいて高発現するClaudin18（CLDN18）及び、細胞増殖に関与するYAP/TAZ経路に焦点を当て、TAZの高発現と核内移行を確認。患者由来オルガノイド（PDO）にTAZ阻害薬を添加することでオルガノイドの縮小・減少が観察された。これにより、TAZの作用と下流因子の解明、TAZ阻害薬のGAS治療薬としての可能性を検討する。
