Outline of Research at the Start	早産は周産期関連の死亡、合併症の最も大きな原因である。前期破水は早産の原因の3-4割を占めており、全妊娠の1-3%に発症するが、いまだ有効な根治療法は無い。しかし臨床では、妊娠中期の前期破水がまれに自然治癒することを経験する。我々は破水部局所で増加するプロスタグランジン、特にプロスタサイクリンに注目した。マウス前期破水モデルを用いて破水部局所の創傷治癒過程を観察することで、羊膜の再生・治癒におけるプロスタサイクリンの機能・役割を解明し、前期破水の治療に結びつけることを目指す。
