Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、胎児機能の分子マーカーとして羊水あるいは母体血漿中の胎児由来RNAプロファイル(mRNA、microRNAおよびcircular RNA)に着目し、妊娠経過に伴う子宮内での胎児機能獲得の分子メカニズム解明に迫り、羊水検査ならびに母体の血液検査による総合的な胎児機能評価法の確立を目指す。まず、羊膜、胎児ならびに羊水細胞由来RNAを同定する。ついで、各妊娠時期の羊水中ならびに母体血漿中における羊膜、胎児ならびに羊水細胞由来RNAの流入パターンをもとに、胎児機能と関連する新たな分子マーカーセットを選定し、胎児機能と関連するRNAプロファイルを用いた胎児機能検査の臨床的意義を明らかにする。
