Outline of Research at the Start

Ureaplasmaは非常に小さく、宿主細胞内へ侵入する性質も持つことから、子宮平滑筋細胞に侵入し子宮収縮に直接影響を及ぼす可能性がある。これまでの研究でUreaplasmaの細胞内に侵入にカルシウムチャンネルの関与が示唆されており、切迫早産治療であるカルシウム拮抗薬がUreaplasma 感染をも防いでいる可能性がある。本研究では、Ureaplasmaの細胞内侵入の機序について解析をすすめる。
